Meet the doctors at ansert foot & ankle center

Dr. Donald R. Ansert, D.P.M.

Dr. Ansert is a native of Floyds Knobs, Indiana and received his B.S. Degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He received his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from William School College in Chicago, Illinois, as well as a B.S. Degree in Biological Sciences.


His postgraduate training included a podiatric surgical residency in the Department of Orthopedics at Rush-Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago. Prior to moving to Louisville, Dr. Ansert also served as a faculty member at a Rush University School of Medicine.


He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, and both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Kentucky Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Ansert is Board Certified in the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine.


Attending and Teaching Physician at the Norton and Jewish Hospital Podiatry Residence Programs.


Dr. Ansert has a professional interest in sports medicine, foot and ankle surgery, and diabetic foot management. He resides in Louisville with his wife Angela. Dr. Ansert has two children Blake and Holly, and two step-children, Parker and Mason.

Dr. Daryl K. Potter

Dr. Potter is a graduate of the US Naval Academy. After spending seven years in the fleet as a surface warfare officer, Dr. Potter resigned his commission. He then attended the Ohio School of Podiatric Medicine where he graduated in the top 5% of his class. He then completed a three-year comprehensive surgical residency with the Kentucky Podiatric Program. Prior to joining Ansert Foot & Ankle Center, Dr. Potter was practicing in Louisville for the past four years. Dr. Potter has immediate opening for all foot and ankle problems. 

Dr. Jonathan Prime

Please welcome Dr. Jonathan Prime who's joining our community from Lancaster, PA. With a Biochemistry degree from Duquesne University and a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from William M. Scholl College.


After excelling at the Norton Podiatric Surgical Residency Program, Dr. Prime specializes in complex deformity reconstruction, diabetic foot care, limb salvage, Charcot reconstruction, traumatic foot and ankle injuries, and elective forefoot procedures. Patients trust his meticulous approach and dedication to restoring mobility and comfort.


Beyond the OR, Dr. Prime loves outdoor adventures with his wife, golfing, running, and exploring nature's beauty.
